- how do i get paid?
- connect payouts once from your referrals dashboard (a couple minutes - it's how we send real money to your bank). each reward clears about a week after your friend's first payment, then lands in your payout balance automatically. prefer not to set that up? take any reward as folk account credit instead, one tap.
- what's the difference between a crew invite and my link?
- a crew invite is a referral plus a connection: once your friend joins, your two folks can work together - shared context, asks, intros. the plain link just gets them the trial. both earn you the same $25, so start with crew for friends you actually want folk to know.
- when does the reward land?
- when your referred friend becomes a paying subscriber on any plan AND is actually using folk (they've sent at least 15 messages). most start on the 7-day free trial your link gives them; once they subscribe and are active, your $25 is earned and pays out about a week later. folk texts you along the way - when your friend joins, when they start really using it, and again when your cash is on the way.
